I always knew raising her would be different (from how I taught Meredith) but i didn't know it would be so.. Challenging. Yesterday we had water play for her birthday week but she came in with a big bag of tantrums and before she could throw a third tantrum i told her "We are here to have fun together so if you are not intending to make this fun, you choose to not be kind with the words you use, and if you throw another tantrum then i'm sorry cox even if this water play is for your birthday, i will still have to ask you to get out to calm yourself down, okay?"

"Okay that's it. I'm leaving now." She ain't taking no attitude from anyone 😅 So i got so angry that she's being so unappreciative that this water play was set up for her, i told her, "okay if you choose to walk out now without even trying to be nice, then no waterplay for you anymore becox you obviously do not care about waterplay."
Then it escalated into another episode of "YOU JUST ALWAYS SCOLDING ME!! YOU NOT MY BESTFRIEND ANYMORE" 🥲
We made up within an hour thanks to mediator Josh and Amelia came to apologise and i also apologise for threatening to make her stay instead of asking her to stay cox that's really my intention, i want her to stay to have fun becox it's for her birthday but i didn't wanna give in to tantrum after tantrum cox if not she think that's the way to go.
When we talk about things she cried when she ask me if i still love her.. Sigh.. How do you make a 4yro understand that a parent's love isn't blind, it isn't blindly giving in but it us unconditional and it is always a constant 💔❤️ My phone, my desk, my life is full of her and she still thinks i will stop loving her over a quarrel. My silly baobei, Happy Birthday.
